Terms and Conditions of Sale
Sales of antique weaponry will only be to persons over the age of 18 and UK laws as of late 2019 require me to verify your age. I accept cheques, PayPal and bank transfers (preferring the latter). I will post a purchased item to you as soon as payment has cleared. Postage is entirely at your risk, especially overseas, but I will do my very best to solve any of the extremely rare problems that might occur. Items are almost exclusively sent via the UK company Parcelforce which is reliable and has introduced an important age-verification system for domestic deliveries in order to ensure that the new laws are complied with. For sustainability, I re-use packaging as much as possible.
I am not a dealer, merely a collector and a researcher, so I am more than happy to consider offers on any of the items on my website so please don’t be reluctant to get in touch and make an offer. I regularly accept non-refundable deposits to reserve items and payments in installments.
No items containing ivory will be presented for sale except those that explicitly meet the new (2022) ivory laws of the UK.
All items are described as accurately as possible and to the best of my knowledge. If I have little knowledge of an item, or I suspect it is a replica or a fake rather than an antique, I will state that clearly in the blurb. If you notice one of my descriptions is incorrect please feel free to let me know as I’d rather lose value on an item than lose reputation. All items are sold as ornamental objects of historical interest and they are not intended for any use other than decoration - and they do not reflect any political opinions of my own.
Article links that point to books will usually be affiliated.
Photograph Usage
All photographs on the site are my property but please contact me if you would like to use any for your purposes (I’ll likely say yes and want to support your project).
